Health Corps ProfessionalsOrphanage Outreach is an American non-profit organization that has been working in the northwest part of the Dominican Republic since 1994. Over 8000 international volunteers have joined us since 1994, with the majority of focus being on education. Originally focused solely on the local orphanages, thanks to volunteer growth the focus has expanded to include additional needs in the community. Book The Future
Book The Future is an exciting initiative sponsored by Orphanage Outreach. There are two main goals of the Book The Future program. One, to provide opportunities to disadvantaged children through literacy by ensuring that each child has their own book as well as establishing community libraries. Secondly, Book The Future is striving to do so by involving others in making the difference.
Parents, teachers, children of all ages have the opportunity to get involved with this program; the best part is it doesn't take much to make a big difference. Being involved with Book The Future can be as easy as buying an extra Spanish book in your next scholastic order!
We are currently working in the Dominican Republic, therefore there is a high need for childrens books in Spanish. If you are interested or have a compilation of English books, please contact us prior to sending.
