One of the needs of the Dominican Republic is public health education and overall health care. We offer several opportunities for health educators, pre-dental students, pre-medical students, dentists and doctors to get involved and make a difference in Dominican Communities.

Your university pre-dental society is invited to join Orphanage Outreach - Health Corps in the Dominican Republic this spring break. Your team will be providing dental health education in local schools and rural communities; covering topics including:
- Dental Anatomy
- Plaque, Cavities, and Gum Disease
- Nutrition - Healthy and Unhealthy Foods
- Brushing and Flossing

Dental Professionals - view photos
Dental professionals - you are invited to join us for any of the five weeks between February 20 and March 27, 2010 to conduct dental clinics in the banana worker villages in the northwest corner of the Dominican Republic. You will be conducting exams, cleanings, extractions, and fillings.
