Orphanage Outreach Internships
The goal of Orphanage Outreach is to allow volunteers to use their special skills while making a difference. Everyone can make a tremendous impact; if you do not see an area of interest to you below please contact us to see how your skills can fit in!
We have also had many interns receive college credit for their experience with us. You are responsible for setting up credit with your advisor, but we are willing to help with any paperwork that might need to be done.

Spanish Internships
An internship for Spanish majors and minors is a tremendous opportunity to practice and improve your Spanish. You will be immersed in the Dominican culture and have the opportunity to use your Spanish with the children at the orphanage, in the public schools, and in the community. An Orphanage Outreach Health Corps Internship is an opportunity for any one in a health related field. We spend the majority of our efforts teaching basic public health education in local schools and rural villages - hygiene, nutrition, disease prevention, dental health, etc. During certain times of the year, we also offer medical and dental clinics in rural villages. As an Orphanage Outreach Health Corps intern, you will be helping to coordinate these clinics. Physical and occupational therapy students may have the opportunity to volunteer in the Monte Cristi Rehabilitation Center. Learn More!
