Orphanage Outreach provides opportunities to orphaned, abandoned and disadvantaged children. We invite you to release the hero within these children through one of our following programs:
Winter Program Opportunities 2010/2011
December and January are great months to volunteer with Orphanage Outreach. It's always an excellent time for groups and the holidays make it a special time for individuals and families to volunteer. Because of the holiday and school schedules, every week is different. In early December and late January, you might be teaching in the local schools or the Orphanage Outreach English Institute. in late December and early January, you'll be celebrating holidays with the orphange kids and doing special activities with them because they are out of school. If we have a large volunteer team, we would be able to do a holiday camp with orphanage children and children in the community.
Join us at the orphanage in Jaibon for a construction filled week. You'll be helping to build additional housing and storage space. Of course there will be plenty of time with the children as well. Program donation: $1000/week plus airfare; includes housing, all meals, ground transportation, and construction materials. No scholarships apply. Construction weeks:

Join us at the orphanage in Monte Cristi for a traditional holiday volunteer experience - spend Christmas, New Years, and Kings Day with the children. It's a great place to celebrate the holidays! Normal Orphanage Outreach program donation and scholarships apply.- December 18 - December 25

Past Orphanage Outreach Volunteers and Teams are invited to join us in Jinotega, Nicaragua. You'll have the opportunity to work with pre-school children, and also to work on various construction/work projects. Spring Break Program 2011
February through April is a great time to volunteer with Orphanage Outreach. Our education program is in high gear; we ahve volunteers teaching English and other classes in many community schools. It's a great opportunity for high school, college, and church teams to make a significant differences as well as individuals and families
We have an active program for health professionals and students to be involved in both public health education and clinics - the Orphanage Outreach Health Corps Program.
The spring is our busiest time of the year; the volunteer energy is powerful and contagious! Please join us!
