Our Mission
The mission of Orphanage Outreach is to provide opportunities to orphaned, abandoned, and disadvantaged children. Certainly the children who live at the orphanage are a focus of ours, but all the children in many Dominican communities are disadvantaged in some way. The economics of many towns are very poor, the children only go to school for half a day, and there are minimal extracurricular activities for the children to participate in.
The mission of Orphanage Outreach is to involve volunteers and donors to make a difference by providing opportunities to orphaned and abandoned children. Our goals are to help the orphanages to:
- Provide the basic necessities
- Provide a quality education
- Become self sufficient
Through our sponsors' donations, we are able to help the orphanage provide basic necessities like food and water. We are able to provide funds for educational needs. We are able to help the orphanage help themselves by providing water storage facilities and irrigation lines for vegetable gardens. Your support is needed in order to continue and expand our efforts to provide opportunities to orphaned and abandoned children.
